The Disney Corporation has cultivated an image as a wholesome, uplifting, family-friendly source of entertainment and inspiration for children around the world. That has been true for most of the company’s 100 years in existence. Unfortunately, and tragically, in recent years the company has turned woke and given itself over to advancing the LGBT agenda around the world.

Disney is not your Valentine, nor one for your children. A top Disney programming executive was recently caught admitting that for years she has implemented a “not at all secret gay agenda.” According to this insider, this agenda to add “queerness” to children’s programming was fully endorsed by the top brass at Disney. “I don’t have to be afraid to have two characters kiss…I was just wherever I could just basically adding queerness [to programming]…No one would stop me and no one was trying to stop me.” 

The embrace of “queerness” was most publicly demonstrated when then-CEO Bob Chapek attacked Florida Governor Ron DeSantis over legislation to prohibit indoctrinating very young children (kindergartners through fourth grade) about “sexual orientation” and “gender identity” – concepts that are utterly foreign to young children. 

Disney called on DeSantis and Florida to reverse course, demanding that legislation to prohibit children as young as five years of age from being taught sexually-explicit concepts such as homosexual orientation be reversed. He also announced a $5 million donation to the nation’s top LGBT lobbying group, the misnamed Human Rights Campaign, which lobbies for homosexual marriage, transgender ideology, stripping Americans of religious liberty rights, allowing boys to compete against girls in sports, and the redefinition of biological sex to mean ‘gender identity.’

IOF has mobilized opposition to Disney by sponsoring our Dump Disney Petition. Tens of thousands of people have signed the petition and pledged to boycott all Disney products – from theme parks to cable and streaming television programming.

Parents and families – not to mention investors – did not react well to Disney’s embrace of the homosexual and transgender agenda. The company has lost some $87 billion in market value since they took their woke campaign public one year ago. Bob Chapek, the CEO who capitulated to wokeness, has been fired. Last week the company announced they were laying off over 7,000 employees.

Now is the time to make sure that mega-corporations like Disney get the message that parents will not tolerate their desires to force radical ideologies onto innocent children. Disney and other big corporations are so used to dealing with woke executives and leftist politicians that they think the more they do to advance radical ideologies, including sexualizing children, the more popular they will become and the more money will inure to their bottom lines. 

On this Valentine’s Day, we’ve got to make them understand that families – the very people who built Disney into an iconic brand – will not tolerate allowing their children to be “queered,” sexualized or manipulated. Please act today to Dump Disney by signing our petition.
