President Joe Biden announced his reelection campaign last week and, as usual, the episode underscored just how extreme and reckless he is as our nation’s President.
First off, Biden didn’t have the energy to give a speech to the nation, or even hold a rally in a friendly blue state. Instead, his announcement came in the form of a three-minute campaign video.
And what did this video reveal?
For one thing, it showed just how extreme Joe Biden’s policies are on issues we care about, and how willing he is to flat-out lie to the country about people like us.
Four seconds into Biden’s announcement video, he showed a protestor at the Supreme Court with an “abortion is healthcare” sign.
Ten seconds later, he talked about “personal freedom” being fundamental to America while showing Kamala Harris and her husband at a homosexual march wearing t-shirts promoting gay love.
Not long afterwards came a couple of real doozies. Showing a stack of books and then a picture of James Obergefell, the homosexual plaintiff in the federal lawsuit that ended up imposing gay ‘marriage’ on every state in the nation, Biden claimed that people who oppose him are, “banning books and telling people who they can love.”
Joe Biden has no shame. He is a feckless politician without principles who kowtows to extreme liberal interest groups to seek votes and campaign donations.
We can’t let Joe Biden and his cronies get away with misrepresenting the issues we care so much about. Please help NOM get ready for the fight that lies ahead.
Thanks to some faithful supporters, a $100,000 matching gift fund has been created to match every dollar we receive. Those who become a new monthly donor will have the amount of their monthly gift be matched twelve times over.
Back to Joe Biden’s reelection announcement. Banning books?
Nobody wants to ban books. What we want is to remove pornographic books from public school libraries so that unsuspecting and innocent young children are not exposed to pornographic material about the intricacies of homosexual sex and practices.
If parents want their kids to read about gay love and sex acts, they can easily order the books themselves. They are not banned.
And telling people who they can love? Give me a break!
For our entire existence, in public and private, and in numerous ballot initiative and issue campaigns we’ve waged over the years, NOM has always held the position that people of the same sex are free to love whomever they wish and live their lives however they choose. What they are not free to do is redefine marriage for all of society and force their agenda on others.
Given the duplicity and reckless rhetoric of Joe Biden’s reelection announcement, one can only imagine how ugly his campaign will get against those of us who disagree with his positions on these critical issues.
NOM cannot waste a day getting ready for the challenge ahead with the upcoming presidential election. We must help make sure that our views on the critical issues are fairly presented to the American people and that we support candidates who champion our issues.
I am asking every NOM member and supporter to make a sacrificial gift so that we have the funds needed to forcefully advocate our point of view in the arena of politics and campaigns.
We cannot allow Joe Biden, Kamala Harris and their radical allies to falsely portray our views as hateful and attempt to use that disinformation to secure votes for their reelection.
Opposing homosexual pornography is public schools is not banning books.
Forcing homosexual ’marriage’ on the entire nation is not about who people can love.
NOM is on the front lines fighting for our issues, and oftentimes we are alone in the fight. LGBT lobbyists have unlimited funds to spread their lies, and they have very wealthy allies among huge corporations, big time sports leagues and entertainment and tech giants wanting to portray themselves as “woke” on these issues.
We depend on individuals and families of good will to support our work. That is why I hope you will step up today with a financial gift. Please act today.
Your continued financial support will help us combat Joe Biden’s reckless rhetoric and make sure that the issues we care about are fully and fairly presented in the coming campaigns for president, Congress and other critical offices.
Faithfully,
Brian S. Brown President
