From the day I moved to California in 2008 to help lead the successful fight there to define marriage as the union of one man and one woman, to our current fights to stop transgender madness and reclaim true marriage, one thing has been consistent… the Left will do everything in their power, legal and illegal, to shut down the National Organization for Marriage (NOM).

Why? 

Because we are a threat.

In 2008, against all odds, with the guidance of our current political director, Frank Schubert, we won in California. This was the largest statewide victory for a social issue in American history.

I then served as organizer and Co-Chairman of the successful statewide “people’s veto” of same-sex marriage legislation in Maine in 2009.

In 2010, with God’s grace, we helped defeat three Iowa Supreme Court Justices – including the Chief Justice of their state Supreme Court – who previously had legislated from the bench to impose same-sex “marriage” on that state.

And in 2012, I was blessed to serve as Co-Chairman of the committee that led the fight to successfully pass Amendment One in North Carolina protecting marriage as the union of one man and one woman in their state constitution with by over 61 percent of the vote.

Of course, with the U.S. Supreme Court’s illegitimate and anti-constitutional Obergefell decision imposing gay “marriage” on the entire nation, all those ballots were trashed like so many petty dictators have done before.

But we do not relent.

Whether it’s debating radical gay activist Dan Savage (in his own home, with a New York Times reporter covering the debate) or successfully suing the IRS, we won’t back down.

That’s why the IRS leaked our donor names. That is why the state of Maine brought false election charges against us. That is why big tech has repeatedly tried to cancel us.
And now we face a turning point. We are committed to not only survive, but to grow. 
The transgender movement and ideology is the evil fruit of the tree of same-sex marriage. We are committed to overturning it —state by state. 

We have already enjoyed some amazing successes. In addition to halting the Equality Act in its tracks in Congress, in 2022 we helped pass laws in over six states protecting children and families from transgender ideology. There are now proposals in 24 states to protect children from this cultish ideology.

But we wish to do more. 

We have a 50-state plan to fight the transgender ideology that goes far beyond merely asking legislators and state governors to do the right thing. We intend to take this evil fruit of transgenderism directly to voters via state referenda.

But we can’t do it without you.  The Left and radical transgender activists think they can shut us down. With your help, we will take their evil fruit and throw it in the trashcan of history.

Transgenderism truly is the evil fruit born of the imposition of same-sex marriage. Not only does it ruin countless lives as young people get lured into the lie that they can change their sex, but it is corroding every aspect of society – from the government down through culture, as radicals insist that their lie is true and try to impose it by force everywhere even in the face of science, common-sense and thousands of years of human history.

I hope you will help us take the next step in the battle. The radicals on the Left have failed to shut us down, and now we are ready to take the next battle directly to them. But we can’t do this without you.
