A threat at the very foundation of the internet…
If we think of the internet as a system of highways, with apps, websites, donation platforms like cars running on those highways, then the highways themselves are the key to any movement of data and ideas.
This is the nuclear-bomb level threat for conservatives.
What if the highways themselves are shut down?
I know that this threat is real from personal experience. From my leadership of the successful efforts to amend state constitutions to protect marriage to my international efforts to grow a global conservative movement with the International Organization for the Family, I have seen Big-Tech cancel culture up close and personal.
We faced death threats and physical attacks.
We were shut down on Twitter, marginalized on Facebook. Most importantly in 2018, our digital payments processors—a part of the infrastructure of the Internet—Stripe, shut us down.
In 2008 I was already worried about this future. But things have gotten worse than I ever thought.
So, I joined with my friend and tech-guru David Lejeune to solve the problem rather than simply complain about it.
