Hi is Risen! Happy Easter!

Dear supporter,

Biblical scholars have said there are at least 365 times in the bible that we are told versions of “fear not” or “do not be afraid.”  And yet, sometimes it is difficult to not worry about the future given the dark and confused culture that surrounds us.

Today is the day that proves the bible’s advice about fear to be perfectly accurate. For He is Risen!

The Resurrection of Jesus Christ validates all that Christ taught us to do and believe so that we might join Him in everlasting joy in heaven.

Those of us who actively battle dark cultural forces hear every day are used to being told that our views are wrong, out of touch and in opposition to the “arc of history.”

But fear not, we are not wrong. Today on Easter we once again are reminded that the views that we espouse and the values that we live by are good and true.

Marriage is the union of a man and a woman, and it is beautiful, an institution created by God at the dawn of time.

Similarly, we are reminded that a person’s sex is not an arbitrary attribute “assigned at birth” that can be changed, but rather a joyous gift from God that is an essential part of every individual’s humanity, something known by the Creator before the person ever was in the womb.

So, too, does this day remind us that the gift of faith is never forced on anyone but neither can it be stripped from anyone. It is our basic human right to cherish such a gift and live our lives in accordance with those beliefs.

On this momentous day where we commemorate the most consequential event in all of human history, we at the National Organization for Marriage wish you a joyous and blessed Easter. May God richly bless you and your family today, and always!

Faithfully,
