Dear supporter,

President Joe Biden used his State of The Union speech this week to call for the enactment of legislation that would impose much of the radical LGBT agenda into federal law and target people of faith and supporters of marriage with ruinous legal complaints and lawsuits.

Help NOM Fight Biden’s LGBT Agenda

We cannot sit idly by and let Joe Biden and his radical allies destroy American values and punish those who believe in marriage, religious liberty and the biological nature of gender. Please help NOM fight this dangerous agenda by making an immediate 2023 Membership Contribution.

Joe Biden urged Congress to enact what he called the Equality Act, but in reality, the legislation is the InEquality Act. This legislation would create special legal rights based on sexual orientation and gender identity for lesbians, gays, bisexuals and those who identify as transgender.

The InEquality Act would declare that belief in marriage as the union of one man and one woman is a sexual stereotype. It would give those who identify as LGBT new special legal rights to target people when they refuse to accept LGBT views on key issues such as marriage. And it would strip people of faith of their statutory rights to religious liberty should they oppose the homosexual agenda on marriage and other issues.

It's not an overstatement to say that the InEquality Act is one of the biggest threats to our values and our beliefs that we have ever faced. Please act today to help make sure that NOM has the resources needed to take on this critical challenge.

NOM is a leading opponent of the InEquality Act legislation. We were able to defeat it in the last Congress because we helped generate massive grassroots opposition, including facilitating over two million contacts with Congress such as email messages and phone calls to elected officials.  Now we must prepare to fend off another fierce push behind the legislation.

In theory, we should be in a stronger position to defeat the legislation this year since the House is now controlled by Republicans. Unfortunately, and shockingly, in the last Congress several House Republicans actually voted in favor of the InEquality Act. We cannot take anything for granted.

With Joe Biden and the Democrat leadership now making passage of the InEquality Act a top priority, NOM must spring into action immediately. Unlike the wealthy LGBT lobby that is funded by big business and billionaire donors, we are a grassroots organization that largely depends on financial support from individuals and families.

That is why I am asking every NOM supporter to help us by making a 2023 Membership Contribution today. You can help NOM by making either a one-time donation, or by becoming a monthly donor.

President Biden and his Democrat allies read the same polls that all of us do and they privately know full well that they are in bad shape with the American people. They have a limited amount of time to pass their agenda into law and that is why they are coming for us now.

Your financial support of NOM at this time by making a 2023 Membership Contribution is crucial. We will gratefully appreciate any assistance you can provide. Thank you.

Faithfully,

Brian S. Brown, President, National Organization for Marriage
