Dear supporter,

As you know, Disney held their annual shareholders meeting earlier this week. Bob Iger, the company’s recently re-hired CEO, got grilled by investors about their embrace of LGBT and transgender ideologies, their woke politics and their “agenda driven content.”

Recent reporting of the Disney annual meeting strongly suggests that our Dump Disney petition campaign is having a real impact on the company. Not only did Iger acknowledge the criticism that Disney is facing, he seriously back-peddled on the direction the company has taken in recent months.

Keep The Pressure On Disney

NOM is the leading opponent of Disney’s embrace of homosexual and transgender ideologies. Please help us keep up the pressure on Disney by making an investment in our work today.

Thanks to some generous donors, every donation to NOM right now will be matched dollar for dollar. Those who become new monthly donors will trigger a match of their monthly gift for an entire year – a twelve times return!  Please be generous with your gift.

If you donate at least $5, NOM will send a fax and letter on your behalf to Bob Iger letting him know that you object to what the company has been doing.

Here are some of the critical comments that Disney investors lodged at this week’s shareholders meeting:

“Disney has turned from a place of magic for children to an ideological company serving LGBTQIA+ [that] lobbies to groom children.”

“Disney’s films are increasingly promoting the woke agenda.”

“How can you explain to parents worldwide that you recently celebrated 100 years of history by collaborating with the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus to produce a LGBTIA+ themed musical? This is a group that has specifically said they want to indoctrinate children.”

How can you explain to parents worldwide that over the next few months dozens of highly-sexualized gay pride parades will take place in Disneyland parks…the exact places where they used to take their children for fun?”

“Would it not be beneficial for the company to ditch the LGBTQIA+ and gender ideology for good?

As I have highlighted before, Disney’s embrace of woke ideologies has cost the company dearly. The Dump Disney petition that NOM is sponsoring has been signed by nearly 32,000 people. The petition is not just a symbolic statement. Those who sign pledge to sever all ties with Disney products, services and programming, costing the company dearly.

Our Dump Disney effort is one of the reasons that Disney has lost billions in market value, decided to fire their former CEO, Bob Chapek, and recently announced that they were laying off 7,000 workers.

Iger’s response to the criticism at the annual shareholders meeting shows that NOM is making progress in pressuring the company to return to their historic roots as a premiere provider of wholesome entertainment for children and families.

“We’ve recently gotten criticism…for what some perceive to be agenda-driven content. And I’m sensitive to that, actually. Our primary mission needs to be to entertain. And then through our entertainment to continue to have a positive impact on the world.

I’m very serious about that. It should not be agenda driven. It should be entertainment driven. That should be the goal in all of our stories.

In response to criticism that Disney has been engaged in “grooming” children to support the LGBT agenda, Iger also acknowledged the pressure they feel:

“We should be sensitive to the fact that parents have different levels of comfort with the content that is delivered to their children. I want parents to be able to trust the content that we’re creating for their children, and we’re committed to delivering age-appropriate content for family audiences while also telling stories that reflect the world around us and that foster greater understanding, greater perspective, greater acceptance of all people.”

NOM is by no means done with pressuring Disney via our Dump Disney campaign. Still, we should be encouraged that what we have done so far has been noticed at the highest levels of the company, has investors on edge, and holds promise in convincing the company to change course away from pushing homosexual and transgender ideologies and woke politics.

Please help us keep the pressure on by signing the Dump Disney petition if you have not already done so, use the buttons below to share it with your friends and family and make a generous tax-deductible donation to NOM that will be matched dollar for dollar, thus doubling the impact of our gift.

Your Donation Will DOUBLE

Thank you for everything you do to stand for marriage, gender and religious liberty, and to help NOM fight for these values wherever they are under attack.

Faithfully,

Brian S. Brown
President
