Dear <<Email Address>>,

The plaintiff in the infamous USA abortion case, Roe v Wade, never had an abortion. Most people don’t realize that.

Her pregnancy was used by abortion activists as a legal pretext to secure the nationwide “right” to abortion in the 1970s. But by the time that the US Supreme Court issued its infamous Roe v Wade decision, Norma McCorvey (who was given the pseudonym Jane Roe by the lawyer who filed the case) had already given birth and given the child up for adoption.

In the years following the 1972 decision, over 60 million babes in the USA lost their lives to abortion.

Help Us Fight The Next Roe Decision

Now there is a case pending in the Inter-American Court of Human Rights that is strikingly similar to what happened in Roe v Wade.

Like Jane Roe, the plaintiff in this case, an El Salvadoran woman identified in court filings as Beatriz, never had an abortion.

Like Roe, Beatriz’ real name is protected under seal.

Like Roe, abortion advocates have used Beatriz’ case as a legal pretext to demand that Latin American countries be forced to consider abortion to be a “human right.”

Our pro-life lawyers have been on the front lines, in courtrooms and in the court of public opinion, fighting to protect life and prevent abortion extremists from using Beatriz as a pretext to enact their deadly agenda.

Please stand with us to prevent the next abortion atrocity by making a generous donation today to NoNextRoe, which is helping lead the fight for life at the I-A Court of Human Rights.

Abortion extremists insisted that Beatriz’ life was in danger by her pregnancy because she suffered from Lupus and thus was entitled to an abortion, but medical experts disagreed. Indeed, Beatriz’ Lupus was under control and she gave birth by Caesarean section with no significant health problems. The baby, whom Beatriz named Leilani, passed away a few hours later from anencephaly.

There are some big differences between the Roe and Beatriz cases, however.

For one thing, what is at risk with the Beatriz case is even more horrific than what came after the Roe decision. Well over 100 million lives of unborn children are at risk in Latin America should abortion extremists get their way in the Beatriz case.

Secondly, Norma McCorvey was able to try to make things right in undermining the Roe v Wade decision. She became an outspoken pro-life activist and fought for decades to reverse the infamous abortion case brought pretextually in her name.

Sadly, Beatriz does not have the opportunity to stop the use of her case as a pretext to demand abortion throughout Latin America. She died tragically in a motorcycle accident in 2017.

Despite Beatriz’ accidental death six years ago, and the fact that she never had an abortion, powerful abortion extremists continue to use her situation to open the door to abortion throughout Latin America no matter what local citizens might want in their own countries.

Judges at the Inter-American Court of Human Rights heard oral argument in the Beatriz v El Salvador case in March and are expected to issue a decision in coming months. Well over 100 million innocent lives in Latin America hang in the balance.

NoNextRoe is a project of the Global Center for Human Rights, a pro-life nonprofit based in Washington, DC. The organization is a powerful voice for the unborn, led by a team of accomplished pro-life lawyers from Latin America. The team is working hard to uphold the right of Latin American states to protect the unborn, including by laws that prohibit abortion.

The Beatriz v El Salvador case should not even exist. Beatriz’ life was protected by her medical team and she gave birth without harm. And yet, here we are a decade after Beatriz gave birth and six years after she tragically died in a motorcycle accident, having to battle powerful abortion forces that are using her name to advance an abortion on demand agenda throughout Latin America.

If the manipulation of Beatriz’ case by abortion extremists wasn’t enough, the court considering this case has a very troubling history of bias and conflict of interest.

The I-A Court of Human Rights receives funding from powerful abortion backers like George Soros’ Open Society Foundations, Google and the Ford Foundation. It is a clear conflict of interest when a court’s funding might be jeopardized if they rule against the interest of those donating to it, but the I-A Court is ignoring this terrible conflict.

Please help us fight the abortion industry’s attempt to get the courts to impose their agenda of death, putting the lives of over one hundred million innocent unborn children at risk. Your donation will be put to immediate use fighting for life, and is fully tax deductible.
